Framptons Transport Sponsor the Air Ambulance
A Shepton Mallet transport company has become a major contributor to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, by nominating the Service as it's Charity of the Year.
The company, led by Chairman Paul Frampton and Managing Director Andrew Frampton, purchased a block of 100 Flight For Life weekly draw tickets to sell on to their emloyees.The company is matching all draw tickets bought by their employees by donating an additional £1 per week. Further fundraising initiatives will follow in due course.
The company is also promoting the Air Ambulance to it's 800 customers and suppliers and is carrying the logo on vehicle and trailer fleet. The Air Ambulance logo will also shortly appear on all Framtons stationery.
Gilly Walters, Frampton Marketing Manager said, "As we live and operate in a predominantly rural area the Air Ambulance is very relevant to us."
The Framptons company logo was unveiled by the Chairman of Shepton Mallet Town Council, Cllr Colin Lockey, when the Air Ambulance was displayed at the Collett Park Festival in Shepton Mallet, on Saturday 9 June 2007.

Higos Insurance Services Ltd sponsors the
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
Higos Insurance Services Ltd, a leading company in Wells, is sponsoring the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The Staff Charity Committee nominated the Air Ambulance as one of its Charities for the Year, and donated £2,000 raised during the Christmas and New Year Festivities.
Managing Director Ian Gosden, agreed to the company covering the printing costs of 25,000 promotional leaflets. In recognition his support the leaflet, for the first time, carries a company advertisement.
Furthermore, the company has a collection box and leaflets in Reception, is recycling its ink cartridges, and has located Clothes Banks in the staff car parks at the Wells and Somerton offices. In addition, it is encouraging the staff to join the weekly draw and recycle their mobile phones to benefit the Air Ambulance.
